Turnstones from Norfolk

I was in Norfolk for 3 days a couple of weeks ago. The weather was not ideal though, with thick fog all day for two of the 3 days. However this, combined with northeasterly winds, caused a huge fall of birds on the coast there. There were thousands of thrushes dropping out of the fog, as well as several hundred robins, and large numbers of brambling, goldcrests, and ring ouzels. One of the species I concentrated on was Turnstone as they were abundant all along the coast.

I was quite pleased to get it running along the sand, and feeding.

This one was actually turning stones!

 Thanks for looking
